Bald Eagle

Shasta, a bald eagle, was struck by a semi in Grant's Pass, Oregon. Although she lived, her beak was shattered. A team of doctors and dentists from Grant's Pass Oregon ordered a model of the bald eagle's bone structure to devise a custom titanium beak. Upon receipt of the model the team of doctors determined they needed more bone to work with. Bone graft were placed in the eagle several months ago. Meanwhile, she is being hand fed at a Wildlife Rehabilitation Center in Grant's Pass Oregon.
